Reverse osmosis uses a natural phenomenon given by the capacity of certain semi-permeable membranes of letting water molecules pass only, retaining most substances dissolved in water, that are concentrated and conveyed to the drain. In this way it is possible to remove all the substances present in water which, though within the limitsfor potable use, are not desired or tolerated, including the problems coming from chlorination and accidental presence of polluting substances (algae, bacteria, viruses, nitrates, pesticides). GELPUR units are also fitted with a filration system to remove bad smells and tastes and with a final safety U.V. disinfection system . The installation is very easy. According to the model, GELPUR units are avaiable under-counter or countertop and require few and easy maintenance operations the user can directly carry out. |
